Pajes Architecture
The Pajes architecture is simple. You can think of it as a replacement for, or addition to, JSP in your current setting.
In the same way that JSP can be used in a heavy-duty EJB oriented environment or as part of a light-weight servlet framework environment, so can Pajes. The only prerequisite is the 2.3 or later servlet API, which is supported by almost all application servers, webservers and webserver servlet plug-ins.
Pajes offers sophistication to developers, graphic designers and user interface designers to speed and simplify the process of presentation layer design and maintenance. The following sections tell you how and why.
